Jeff Martin, lead singer of the iconic Canadian rock band, The Tea Party, has been labeled everything from “child prodigy”, “virtuoso guitarist”, and a “singer with perfect pitch”. He is an artist that transcends typical musical genre’s, and has become somewhat of a musical healer for fans across the globe. Martin’s life has vastly been an exquisite journey immersing himself in many cultures, and learning to play the traditional instruments from those cultures from the masters of the craft in particular the Middle East, and sub continents of India. His home and studio are filled with ancient instruments he’s collected in his travels- all of which he plays fluently. His live solo performances are sold out very quickly. Extending on his songwriting and artistry, Jeff Martin has recently celebrated 20 years since becoming the youngest producer of an EMI record (Splendor Solis) back in 1992.
Twenty years and almost 4 million record sales later, Jeff Martin’s unique life path, musical etymology and output have placed him in a high caliber as a singer, songwriter, multi- instrumentalist and producer while garnering acclaim from music industry stalwarts.
Jeff’s recent Australian solo acoustic tour “Stars In The Sand” was his most successful to date, with one live reviewer labeling him as an adopted ‘national treasure’. Jeff is currently working on a new record for The Tea Party as well as a solo release slated for 2019.
